试卷: LEED AP BD+C模拟题B[查看] What two terms mean the same thing?(choose 2) A: SRI B: Solar reflectance C: Emissivity D: Heat island E: Albedo 参考答案: BE
本题解释: Solar Reflectance Index (SRI): a measure of how well a material rejects solar
heat. SRI is a value that incorporates both solar reflectance (albedo) and
emittance in a single value to represent a material\'s temperature in the sun.
SRI quantifies how hot a surface would get relative to standard black and
standard white surfaces. It is expressed as a fraction (0.0 to 1.0) or
percentage (0% to 100%). Materials with the highest SRI values are the
coolest choices for paving.
Solar reflectance (aka albedo) is a measure of a material\'s ability to reflect
sunlight (including the visible, infrared, and ultraviolet wavelengths) on a scale
of 0 to 1. An albedo value of 0.0 indicates that the surface absorbs all solar
radiation, and a 1.0 albedo value represents total reflectivity.
Emissivity is the ratio of the radiation emitted by a surface to the radiation
emitted by a black body at the same temperature.
The primary cause of the heat island effect is dark surfaces such as rooftops
or dark asphalt pavement that absorb heat and radiate it into the surrounding
areas. Other causes of the heat island effect include air-conditioners, vehicle
exhaust, and street equipment. Reduced air flow between buildings and
narrow streets increases the effect. (USGBC)
Albedo is solar reflectance. |
